Online Certification Our core-online certification consists of an intensive 12 week online class room style environment where students are able to post questions that come up in your studies, chat with other students, and gain a greater understanding than you would on your own. We believe very strongly in this program and its popularity but there are only two of us and we can only handle so many students at a time. That's where you, the graduate, come in. RetreatsWe offer our "Core Training" Certification program in a 5-day, in person format. We schedule 6 training retreats per year. About FSTC
FSTC is unique in that we offer many formats for practitioner certification, or just learning to Feng Shui your own space, using the BTB style of Feng Shui. There are many styles of Feng Shui, Traditional, Compass, Form School, etc. and we have chosen the BTB style for its contemporary and practical application. All styles are effective, considering that Feng Shui is 90% intention, the question you must ask yourself is, "what style resonates with me?"
Whether you choose Online Study (the only one of its kind), Home Study, Retreats, or the Your Life, Designed program, you will study Feng Shui in a hands-on manner. FSTC's various courses are priced such that there is an affordable course available for everyone.
Classes are taught by Instructor, Feng Shui Practitioner, Author, and Host of "Feng Shui, Your Way", Leigh Kubin and Instructor, Feng Shui Practitioner, Author, and Business Major Paul L. Kubin. The Online classes offer a self-paced learning environment with the guidance of not only Leigh and Paul, but the input of fellow students as well. Choosing the Home Study course offers a self-paced learning environment using the same materials as the Online course with mentoring from Leigh and Paul. Our retreats are combined with the Home Study materials and offer an intensive 5-day adventure into the art of Feng Shui. If you're interested in learning to Feng Shui your space without becoming certified, then Your Life, Designed is for you. This course allows you to Feng Shui your space with the guidance of Leigh Kubin using her book, Your Life, Designed: "Practical Feng Shui advice to assist you in creating your life from the outside in". It is a guided consultation performed at your own pace.
No matter which certification program is chosen, our graduates make powerful consultants because they've learned as much about moving energy as they have about moving furniture. Feng Shui adjustments are best made by sensing and experiencing chi, not by applying cookie cutter cures. Count on using your hands as much as your manual in this training.
It's one thing to know Feng Shui and quite another to know how to set up a successful consulting career. You'll learn about setting fees and defining services, understanding the difference between a sole proprietorship, an S-corp, and more.
Feng Shui isn't learned overnight and personal mentoring and student input is often more crucial to a consultant's success than anything you might pick up from the materials. About Us
Paul and I are honored to be the owners and directors of The Feng Shui Training Center. This is where we got our start, and know the power of this program. We didn't want to change the program, we just wanted to make it accessible to more people. With busy lives, we saw the need for an online program. We also continue to offer the Home Study Program and the 5-day Core Trainings; these courses are Practitioner Certification Courses and students will receive a Certificate upon completion.
We combine our love of interior and landscape design with our respect for Feng Shui and share this with our students. We continue to grow our Feng Shui practice, www.fengshuibyleigh.com, in order to continue learning and promoting the art of Feng Shui.
We will operate primarily from our hometown area, Austin, TX. We look forward to working with all prospective students and any that may need a refresher.
